Gallup Pakistan Digital Analytics Welfare Index for Pakistan

Using data from Census 2023 (after converting PDFs to tables to data) , we have developed a multi dimensional index of measuring welfare at district level.

The index uses education , housing characteristics , electricity access , source of cooking fuel and a variety of other indicators.

The map here tells it all : The North South Divide is very apparent.

Even within Punjab , the GT belt districts are doing much better than the sourthern districts.
