India's Health Survey – National Health Pulse Dashboard

Reliable household-level health data is essential for planning health services and financing. The National Health Pulse India Dashboard presents findings from the NSS 80th Round Household Social Consumption: Health survey (Schedule 25.0), conducted by the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) between January and December 2025. Developed from the survey’s unit-level records, this interactive dashboard turns raw microdata into clear, visual insights for policymakers, health system planners, researchers, and the general public.

By linking and visualizing the survey’s household, person, and event-level files, the dashboard enables users to quickly assess illness levels, hospitalization, out-of-pocket spending, maternal care, and vaccination across India.

Pakistan’s intermediate examination system plays a pivotal role in shaping academic and career pathways for students across the country. To understand student performance and educational trends, it is essential to analyze board exam outcomes in a structured, comparative format.

The BISE 11th Grade Result Dashboard 2025 brings together official gazette data from multiple educational boards across Pakistan. It offers a comprehensive, visual overview of student performance in Intermediate Part-I exams, highlighting patterns in pass percentages, district-level outcomes, group-wise trends, and board-wise comparisons.

The dashboard covers 1,39,732 sampled households and 6,51,732 persons across states and union territories. Users can analyze:

  • Proportion of persons ailing in the last 15 days (PPRA), by age, gender, sector, and state
  • Hospitalization rates (excluding childbirth) and the nature of ailments treated
  • Out-of-pocket medical expenditure for in-patient care, out-patient care, and childbirth
  • Type of hospital used, reasons for not using government hospitals, and where treatment was received
  • Antenatal and postnatal care and place of childbirth
  • Vaccination received, by age group, vaccine type, and source
  • Household profile, monthly consumer expenditure, and health insurance coverage
  • Deaths reported by households and the care received before death

This helps stakeholders understand disease burden, financial burden on households, and gaps in access to care.

Supporting Evidence-Based Health Planning

The dashboard improves the transparency and accessibility of survey data. All estimates are weighted with the survey multipliers and follow the official NSS definitions, so headline indicators such as PPRA, hospitalization rate, out-of-pocket expenditure, and institutional childbirth can be reconciled with the published report. By converting microdata into interactive analytics, it supports planning, resource allocation, and policy design for India’s health system.

Researchers, health planners, and decision-makers can use these insights to:

  • Monitor illness levels and hospitalization across states and population groups
  • Understand the cost of care and how households pay for it
  • Identify gaps in antenatal, postnatal, and vaccination services
  • Check the reliability of survey estimates against the published report

Disclaimer

The data presented in this dashboard is sourced from the NSS 80th Round Household Social Consumption: Health survey (Schedule 25.0) unit-level data, released by the National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India. Gallup Pakistan Digital Analytics has only visualized this data for improved understanding and accessibility. Gallup Pakistan Digital Analytics did not collect the survey data, and this dashboard is not an official publication of the NSO or the Government of India.

Estimates are survey-based and subject to sampling error, particularly for small states and narrow age groups. State rankings include only states with at least 100 sample records. Per the NSS “Note for data user”, demographic and household variables are meant to classify health indicators and should not be used for independent estimates such as population size, sex ratio, or literacy. Health insurance is a single-response question (one scheme per person) and is not comparable with sources that count multiple schemes. Deaths are events reported by sampled households, not mortality rates, and the pregnancy-timing question has very few sample cases.

A small number of figures differ slightly from the published NSS Report No. 596 (for example, the average out-of-pocket cost of childbirth is about 2.6% higher), and these differences are noted in the dashboard. Sixteen households with an invalid state code were assigned to Himachal Pradesh based on their NSS region. State boundaries on maps are illustrative only.
