Out of 100 births close to 1.6 are twins or more in Pakistan

Gallup Pakistan Digital Analytics we have developed a dashboard for Pakistan Demographic Survey conducted by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics

Some interesting findings emerge from there.

1/ Overall twin % is close to 1.6

2/ There are provincial variations with KP having highest ratio

3/ Mother who delivered between 35-40 had a much higher chance to deliver twin or more than those delivering at our earlier ages.
