Did you know a judge in a high court in Pakistan hears 100-200 cases in one single day ! Some hear even more

Gallup Pakistan Digital Analytics we are looking at case load data at high courts in Pakistan

I was astonished to see following :

1/ On an average day Lahore High Court listens / has cases listed to hear of around 2500 individual cases

2/ An average judge has 100-200 case load per day ! This means a few minutes for a case . Obviously a large number of these cases would not be heard or no meaningful activity would happen because one or both sides would not appear or another procedural matter.

I am not a lawyer and have very limited understanding of judicial systems around the world but this sounds like a very unbelievable number for any human to handle !

Any lawyers here may shed light if this data is plausible and if this has any bearing for justice delivery in the country?
