✈️ Pakistan looks big. Its economy doesn’t
September 30, 2026

🎨 What color is your car? Depends which one you’re driving.
We Gallup Pakistan Digital Analytics looked at Pakistan’s 5 best-selling used car models and mapped their color breakdowns side by side. White wins everywhere — no surprise there. But look closer and a sharper story emerges:

🖤 Black is a status color, not a hatchback color.
Toyota Corolla (26.9%) and Honda Civic (20.6%) carry real black market share. Suzuki Alto and Cultus? Essentially zero. If you’re driving black in Pakistan, you’re almost certainly in a sedan — it’s an executive/status signal, not a default paint option.
🟡 Gold only exists in the budget segment.
12.7% of Altos are gold — a color that barely registers on any Corolla, Civic, or City. Once you move up to the sedan class, gold disappears entirely.
⚪ White is most dominant on the cheapest car of all.
Suzuki Alto hits 49.4% white — the highest of any model — suggesting white isn’t just “popular,” it’s the practical, low-maintenance default for budget-conscious buyers specifically.
🔵 Honda City has an unusually strong blue presence (15.6%, more than 4x any other model) — worth watching if it holds up in a larger sample.
The takeaway: a national “most popular car color” stat flattens a much more interesting reality — color choice in Pakistan tracks price segment and status as much as personal taste.
