Why does Karachi have cheapest cars and Islamabad the most expensive?

Gallup Pakistan Digital Analytics we have created a dashboard to understand how listed car prices of used cars vary .

One analysis point is to look at how prices of same car for same year varies across the country.

Here below we look at Toyotta Yaris and average price for same year across different cities .

Karachi is almost 10% cheaper than Islamabad.

What explains this difference?

It is the bad Karachi roads which lead to more wear and tear?

Is it just the bad perception?

Karachi has an over supply and Islamabad an under supply?

Karachi has law and order repute issue?

Or perhaps all of this?
