Account Ownership in Pakistan using Findex 2025 : Glass Half Full Half empty kind of situation.

1/ Pakistan started with the poorest baseline (2011) than all other South Asian countries
2/ It is still the poorest in Account Ownership
3/ India is the highest at 90% (at baseline Srilanka was the highest)
4/ Pakistan’s progress since 2011 is relatively higher (niether worst nor best).
5/ At the current rate of increase it would take decades to reach India or even Srilanka standards of account ownership

Glass is half full and half empty when one looks at Financial Inclusion using Findex 2025 for Pakistan.
